Nicoletta's Table and Marketplace
About This Spot
Stepping into Nicoletta’s Table and Marketplace in Lake Oswego feels like discovering a small slice of Italy nestled right here in Oregon. The warm hum of conversation mingles with the inviting aromas of fresh herbs and baked bread, creating a lively yet comfortable atmosphere where time slows just enough to savor the moment. The space strikes a harmonious balance between bustling market energy and the relaxed cadence of a neighborhood Italian eatery, inviting guests to linger over a thoughtfully prepared meal or browse through their array of artisanal goods.
The marketplace section, brimming with house-made focaccia, carefully curated oils, and sweet gelato, sets the tone for an experience rooted in authenticity and care. It’s a place where familiar flavors meet subtle surprises—like a pasta dish enriched with seasonal ingredients or a classic cannoli that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The cuisine gently encourages sharing, from the delicate start of stuffed mushrooms or fried calamari fritti to richly layered plates like pappardelle slow-cooked with wild boar ragu. The day meanders sweetly into evening with on-point desserts and house-crafted drinks that offer comfort with a hint of celebration.
Nicoletta’s fosters an atmosphere that welcomes both regulars and first-time visitors with a genuine kindness that’s almost tangible. Whether you’re there for a casual lunch or a leisurely dinner, you’re met with attentive service that respects your rhythm—whether that means savoring each bite quietly or exchanging stories across the table. It’s a place where the passage of a meal feels a little more like a gathering of friends, underscored by the simple pleasures of honest food and warm company.
For those looking to take a bit of that experience home, the market’s offerings—from robust pastas to bright, fresh soups—serve as a reminder that good taste and thoughtful preparation don’t have to end when the night does. Nicoletta’s Table and Marketplace isn’t just about Italian food; it’s about creating a space where the joy of eating enters the everyday, inviting guests to slow down and connect, bite by bite.

Make no mistake this is a quality establishment serving outstanding food that’s thoughtfully prepared. We shared the Salad with Melon and cucumber and for my entree I had the Lemon Spaghetti with Ricotta and Shrimp. It was sensational! The service was great. The one thing that fell short was the portion size. For $32 at lunch, a pasta dish should be a bit more substantial. I realize that modest portions are associated with an elevated dining experience however the portion was nonetheless quite small and undersized for the price tag. I’ll definitely return, the food is excellent however I might shy away from the pasta next time.

Nicoletta’s is absolutely the best! Walking in feels like stepping into a cheerful Italian market-deli—welcoming, lively, and full of charm. Their spaghetti with marinara sauce is the best I’ve ever had—simple, perfect, and soul-reviving! I especially love their mini cakes, each a little delightful masterpiece, and their soups and ravioli are well-known highlights that keep me coming back. What makes Nicoletta’s truly special is how they extend beyond food. From themed events and wine dinners to lively festivals like their fall celebration with paella and flamenco dancing, every event brings creativity, inclusivity, and a sense of community, turning a meal into an unforgettable experience! Every visit feels warm, joyful, and special—a place where food, community, and heart come beautifully together. Thank you, dear Nicoletta’s!!!

My new favorite restaurant. I'm going to be dreaming about their food for months. Everything was fresh and quality food. I bought soup, pasta, and bread to take home. Looking forward to enjoying it this weekend.

When you walk in there's a full deli style counter and mini store with all sorts of oils, herbs, pasta salads, Gelato, sweets and more. Once we were seated, that's when the wonderful began. Yhe atmosphere was great and the servers were attentive. We really enjoyed the beverage selection and LOVED THE FOOD!!

This Italian is perfect. Very elegant, tasteful, and robust flavors. The starters were great and not too filling at all. They give you fresh bread at the beginning, which is baked to perfection in house. House made cocktails with seasonal mottled fruit was fantastic! Highly recommend.

I had dinner at Nicoletta’s to celebrate my birthday, and everything was exceptional. For appetizers, we shared the Tagliere di Salumi e Formaggio (GF)along with a bottle of red wine. For my main dish, I had the Branzino Cileno con Risotto, (GF) and for dessert, the CRÈME BRÛLÉE a perfect sweet ending. Our server, Omar, was attentive and friendly, which made the celebration even more special.
